Transmission

Get your motor running...

Hello all.

Can anyone advise the approximate engine RPM it takes to get an Interceptor moving - level ground, hand brake off :D, in Drive or Reverse.

Mine seems to take a few herbs - I've checked the fluid level but it seems sluggish to get going. On the move it doesn't over-rev, it shifts smoothly and goes like a 383 should....

Thanks in advance

Mine takes a bit to get going too but I have no idea what RPM it is as my tacho does not work properly yet...

Think it is a fairly high stall torque converter.

When this crappy weather clears I'll go for a run and post some numbers. I know I shouldn't whinge about the rain but I'm longing for sunshine...
